Vanessa and Alex aren’t slowing down! La Casita Kitchen is now offering their Tequeños alongside their very popular Empanadas.
Venezuelan tequeños are similar to Mozzarella sticks. But instead of batter and breading, dough is hand rolled around Halloumi cheese and then fried. The difference is flavour, texture and nutritional value.

The main design goal for this project was to continue with the spirit developed for the Empanadas, while adding to the growing family of SKUs. The Tequeños packaging had to stand apart yet look familiar.
Since the ingredient lists were far shorter, the use of illustrations was quickly abandoned, and a unique pattern was created to work with a new colour palette.
