The Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards is Canada’s highest honour in the performing arts recognizing an array of artists and arts volunteers for their outstanding contribution to culture in Canada and abroad.

Since 1992, the Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards Foundation (GGPAAF) has held an annual live awards event in partnership with the National Arts Centre (NAC). The NAC has the responsibility for the production of the annual tribute.

Visual Communication Source partnered with the NAC communications team and GGPAAF to strategize and develop all visuals for the tribute. The first steps of this project was developing a unique 30th anniversary logo for 2022 paired with a branding guideline.

An extensive list of promotional materials were created including a program, invitations and tickets, social media campaigns, digital and print advertising, dinner menus, slideshows and signage.
